Are you planning on riding in style to the Alamodome? If so, you should think about leasing a 2025 Hyundai SONATA. With it, you'll be able to drive with impressive efficiency, and you can lower your risk of getting into an accident. Continue exploring this overview from the World Car Hyundai South team to learn more.
Leasing
Maybe it's your first time shopping for a midsize sedan like the 2025 Sonata. Committing to permanent ownership is a big step, but you can try this vehicle out temporarily by leasing. This is a program in which you can borrow a new car. The duration of the contract depends on several factors. One of them is the mileage stipulation, which is normally between 12,000 and 15,000 miles per year. Typically, the lower mileage caps are associated with terms of 24 months, while the higher limits are usually accompanied by 36 to 48-month agreements. Plus, you can expect your monthly installments to be less expensive than financing. That's because the payments are based on the depreciated value of the car rather than the actual retail price.
Performance
Cruising along Interstate 10 during a rainy day or sunny skies is simple for the 2025 Hyundai SONATA. You can find this car with a standard FWD mechanism. If you’re eager to take paths with more challenges, then opt for a version with available AWD. The powertrain under the hood depends on the version you’ve chosen. For instance, the SE and SEL have a standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that cranks out 191 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft. of torque. A standard 8-speed automatic transmission also accompanies it. Meanwhile, the N Line is equipped with a standard 2.5L turbo 4-cylinder system, which unleashes 290 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. While it also has a standard 8-speed transmission, the creators of this model installed a wet dual-clutch version instead. The highest possible the SONATA can achieve is a 28/38/32 MPG city/hwy/combined¹ fuel economy rating.
Driver-Assist Features
Events in San Antonio can make traffic congestion and parking a challenge. Fortunately, the  Hyundai SONATA installed the standard Safe Exit Warning², which disables the doors from opening when a vehicle is passing by. If you’re eager to get back on the road, the standard Blind Spot Collision Warning³ will inform you about other motorists driving close to the adjacent and rear sides of the midsize sedan. When you’re trying to switch to other parts of the highway or street without a turn signal, the standard Lane Keep Assist⁴ will help you stay within the designated path. It also works in tandem with the Blind Spot Detection³ system. Finally, the standard Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian/Cyclist/Junction Turning Detection⁵ lets you know about people, vehicles, and objects in front of your car. If it appears an incident can occur, the brakes will autonomously engage. If you'd like to see how this midsize car operates, schedule a test drive online.

Patrick, the individual who assisted me was very nice, knowledgeable, and quick to help. I ended up getting my car back from service half an hour early. Overall, the process was simple and well done. My only complaint would be when I first called the customer service operator(s) answered but did not listen to me and all I could hear was them laughing then they hung up. However, overall the in-person service and customer service was well done.

Never thought I would EVER give an auto dealership a rave review but these guys were awesome today! I took my Sorento in for recall service and when I dropped my car off I was completely ready to spend 1-2 hours b4 I could get a ride home. However, my service advisor Allysa was fantastic and I was being driven home in 15 minutes. She said it could take up to 6 hours but after less than 2 she called and said it was ready and she would send David to pick me up which he did. Quick in and out to pick up vehicle, no cost, no upsells, no "we noticed..." The whole process was quick, easy and painless! Thanks World Car Kia South!

This review is to sincerely warn anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. My experience has proven that their "Certified Pre-Owned (CPO)" guarantees are completely invalid, and their sales team relies on empty promises to close deals. Two massive red flags based on my experience: 1) Incomplete CPO Inspection: I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that supposedly underwent the 150+ point inspection, but after taking the car home, it became apparent that some inspection items were never actually completed—particularly item #70, which requires verifying both keys. They signed off on this standard without actually providing the second key. They are selling cars under the guise of CPO standards without actually doing the work. 2) Three Years of Broken Promises: During the sale, my salesperson, Rachel, explicitly promised me a spare key. Over the course of several months post-purchase, I followed up repeatedly with multiple sales representatives and was even told a manager would handle my situation directly. Every single time, the staff gave me verbal assurances that they would "get it taken care of." It has now been three years, and absolutely nothing has been done. A spare key is a significant expense, and the staff's repeated commitments were clearly just empty commitments to string me along until I went away. If you expect honesty, transparency, and a dealership that stands behind its word and its guarantees, go somewhere else. Their follow-through is nonexistent, and their word cannot be trusted.

Extremely disappointed with Hyundai in general. This experience I've had with Hyundai on and off for two years has been a financial nightmare. I feel Hyundai itself did not take my concerns seriously as they decided to play with my time, my money and most importantly the safety of myself and my children. If someone tells you (which I did) that they do not know what is wrong with their vehicle, it's shaking, it's making noises, it's sluggish, the same issues are constantly being replaced over and over, you (Hyundai) should take these concerns seriously by making sure you have someone who knows what they are doing fix the vehicle. Not allow someone who is just a "basic" technician tell me the same things over and over that are constantly being fixed over and over and finally you decide to have a "master" technician look at the vehicle and now they supposedly found the main issue, which caused all the same issues that kept occurring. Had Hyundai had a master technician examine my vehicle in the first place, I would not be out of more than $5,000 to so call fix my vehicle!!!! This does NOT include over $1,100 in car rental fees. I am a disabled, single parent and cancer survivor. I do not have money to waste on the same issues that could have been easily fixed to begin with. Hyundai did not take my concerns seriously and I was often dismissed or ignored. I worked with Hyundai Consumer America and that too was a waste of time and effort, as I spoke with 5 different individuals who worked on my case. They were all very well aware of all my issues, concerns and what my vehicle did or did not have. At this point, I will never purchase another vehicle from Hyundai again. I've had the fuel system cleaned and the spark plugs replaced at least 6 times. Worked with two of their dealerships, spoke with 5 of their consumer department agents, have spent over $5,000 dollars on the same repairs in two years!!!! Again, not including the $1,100 for rental car fees. Now this dealership is telling me it was my catalytic converter and that’s why I had to keep replacing the spark plugs and fuel system pump. They also told me they didn’t see the problem before because they had their “regular” technician look at my vehicle instead of their "master" technician. Now that the master technician looked at my vehicle who finally said it was the catalytic converter and cabin air filter. Which will cost over $2,400 to fix. Are you kidding me? I am so done with this.

I must say that I was extremely disappointed in our experience with World Car Kia recently. I’ve never experienced such a disorganized and slow auto dealer in my life. I was also dismayed at the false advertising on the vehicle we bought and its condition. If I didn’t live 2.5 hours away and about to go in for heart surgery 4 days later, we would have wouldn’t have completed the purchase. This started out with a True Car listing on a NEW 2020 Sportage that showed the car with a dealer discount of $1,260 along with the Kia discount of $2000 and the Kia trade in allowance of $1500. The car was listed as NEW. In making an offer which matched their offer through True Car, we got a response back which removed the dealer discount and trade in allowance. Whoa, I should have stopped there. Next we check the dealer website and it showed a lesser dealer discount of around $650, along with the 2 Kia discounts on this NEW vehicle. With a few calls, we confirmed the pricing and decided to go ahead and made the trip to the facility the next day. Once we arrive, we met Manny who told us the car was a loaner for service with about 5,000 mile on it but it wasn’t there. xxx? I told him it was sitting out front and after looking he confirmed it was there. However, this supposedly new car was not new, but a loaner with 15,000+ miles on it and it was filthy. Boy, were we surprised that the vehicle was not new at all, after being advertised as such. While it was dirty inside and out, Manny said they would clean it up and we decided to have our trade appraised. Next came the trade in appraisal which took almost 2 hours. And then it comes in with some low ball amount that was almost $4000 under KBB and NADA values. We did the usual back and forth with the manager and finally came to an acceptable amount, yet still less than KBB or NADA. Oh yea, the advertised Kia trade allowance wasn’t available either since the car wasn’t new, it was a loaner. Hmmmm there goes another $1500. Another 2 hours goes by while they are working on the contract. Unbelievable. Finally, the finance person went through the numbers, we settled on the deal and signed the paperwork. Almost 5 hours into it, we now bought the car but were unable to leave since it was still being cleaned up. So, we went to dinner with the understanding the car would be ready when we got back. Upon returning, the car was sitting outside in the parking lot. We went in and the salesman handed us the key and said thanks. It was interesting that he didn’t take us out to the car to go over anything, and I quickly saw why. The wash and detail was pathetic at the least. And then I saw the large dent in the hood. Upon opening the hood, I was able to pop most of the dent out and decided that I’d take care of the rest of it when I got it home, 2.5 hours later. We left and drove back home. The next day, I was able to fix the dent which appeared to be caused by someone setting something on the hood while it was at the dealership. While working on the car, I decide to do a complete detail on it since we were giving it to my wife’s daughter. Along the way, we found 2 small cigarette burns in the driver’s seat, 2 in the drivers carpet, 2 more dents in the roof next to the driver’s door and a couple of clear coat scratches that I was able to buff out. The car hadn’t been detailed at all, just run through some quick wash and put out front. What started as a New Car sale ended up a completely dissatisfying experience on a Dealer loaner car. I recommend staying away from this dealership.

This dealership will actively lie to you and your bank. First they will pull your credit even though you expressly tell them not to and that you have financing set. Then they cover that by lying about it being a soft pull, then constantly make obstacles for you and your bank, refusing to even take a cashiers check, in hopes you do financing through them. These guys are also incompetent, they can't fill out a Purchase Order properly, delaying the bank sending in the cashiers check, making us drive 400 miles only to reject the check and again telling us to finance through them, saying its corporate policy about stamps. You guys aren't a lambo dealership, even they wouldn't show such hubris. Complete xxxxxxxx from top to bottom

2. When the vehicle is parked, Safe Exit Warning (SEW) can alert the driver when a vehicle is approaching from behind. SEW does not work in all situations and is not a substitute for driver or passenger attentiveness. Always be aware of your surroundings and attentive of approaching vehicles. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
3. Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) assists the driver by warning of other cars in the blind spot region. It senses the rear side territory of the vehicle when it is traveling over 20 mph. There are limitations to the function, range, detection and clarity of the system. It will not detect all vehicles or objects in the blind spot. Its operation depends on the size, distance, angle and relative speed difference between your car and other cars. BCW may not operate if sensors are obscured in any way. Do not rely exclusively on BCW. BCW is a supplemental system and the driver must still be attentive and exercise caution when driving. It is the driver's responsibility to be aware of the surroundings and ensure it is clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.
4. Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) will not work under all circumstances. It operates above 40 mph and only when it is able to detect painted lane markings. It cannot function if the lane markings cannot be seen clearly. If the lines cannot be seen clearly due to poor road conditions, weather, or lighting conditions, it may not function. It also may not function on very rough roads, when walls, curbs or concrete barriers are close by, or if following another car too closely. Since it "sees" the lane markings using a camera in the upper windshield area, it is imperative this area be clear and free of blockage such as stickers, dirt, snow, tinting material, markings and labels. Lane Keeping Assist is not a substitute for safe driving practices, but is a supplemental assist only. The driver is responsible for always maintaining command and control of the vehicle and must keep hands on the wheel at all times. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
5. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection (FCA-JT) is intended to be a supplement to safe driving practices. The system is not designed to detect certain stationary objects such as trees or poles, and may not detect all vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists under certain conditions. The system’s Junction Turning function operates when the vehicle’s left turn signal is activated, the vehicle is traveling between approximately 6-19 mph and the oncoming vehicle’s speed is between approximately 19-44 mph. The system is a driver assistance system and is not a substitute for safe driving. The driver is responsible for being attentive and maintaining control of the vehicle, and should not wait for the system's alerts before braking as there may not be sufficient time to brake safely. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.
