Hyundai Sonata Trim Levels

Which 2019 Hyundai Sonata is right for you?

The 2019 Hyundai Sonata has seven trims to choose from, and with such a wide range there's a great chance you'll find the one you want to drive back to your home in Schertz. Let's check out what this new Hyundai model has to offer, and afterward come into our San Antonio dealership for a test drive.

SE & Eco

Even if you get the base SE trim, you'll find some fantastic standard technologies. There's an 8-inch touchscreen, you get Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ capabilities, and a backup camera. There's also a few advanced safety features like blind spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert and lane change assist. The SE and Eco trims have the same features, but in place of the 2.0L engine on the SE the Eco has a 1.6L engine.

What makes the SEL stand out is its convenience technologies that most vehicles don't have until you get to the top trim or pay for an expensive package add-on. Those include the hands-free trunk and wireless cell charger. You'll also get a 10-way power-adjusting driver seat, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel for those occasionally cool morning starts in Live Oak TX, and subscriptions to Blue Link products and a trial to SiriusXM.

If you want a Sonata with a slightly different look, go with the Sport model. On the outside, you'll find a trim-specific grille and dual chrome exhaust. The inside follows the sporty look, and you'll get cloth/leather sport seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel. For a little more control, you'll also have paddle shifters.

The other trims are very equipped, but the Limited really kicks it up a notch. Leather seats that can be heated and ventilated are standard, that way you can really settle in all times of the year as you drive around Windcrest. There's sharper and stronger LED lights with dynamic bending, wood-grain accents for a hint of refinement, and a power-adjusting on the front passenger seat. For advanced safety features you'll find smart cruise with start/stop, automatic emergency braking, and the lane keeping assist.

Sport 2.0T

Take the Sport's performance-focused aesthetic, give it a stronger engine, bigger brakes, and a tuned suspension, and you've got the Sport 2.0T. With this model you'll be ready to tear it up in New Braunfels.

Limited 2.0T

If you want to go all out, the Limited 2.0T is your best bet. There's the turbo engine, a bigger 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, and stronger speakers by the folks at Infinity. Tack on the final advanced safety features of lane departure warning, pedestrian detection, and automatic high-beam assist, and you've got it made!
